Crunchyroll is an online video service that provides Japanese anime and other media to users all across the world. Most people have heard of Crunchyroll by now, given that it has over 25,000 episodes of anime available at any time, and might even have a Premium subscription to it. Because it combines almost any series you could want into one platform, from Naruto Shippuden to Sword Art Online to Yuri on Ice, Crunchyroll has a massive userbase and continues to provide enjoyment to more people every season. Noodles is a restaurant that provides tasty food from Thailand, China, Japan, Vietnam and the Philippines. Go check out their branch on 57th!

Funimation

Funimation is an animation and licensing company based in Texas and is one of the largest anime distributors in the United States. They're behind the dubs and circulation of titles like Attack on Titan, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Code Geass, Rurouni Kenshin, Black Butler, Dragon Ball, and Durarara! First Aid Comics

First Aid is a full service comic shop offering new releases, back issues, graphic novels and a large selection of all-ages comics. They also sell action figures, board games, and other comic related merchandise.

Seminary Coop Bookstore

The Seminary Co-op Bookstores, Inc. is comprised of two independent customer-owned co-operative bookstores. Founded in 1961 and located in Chicago’s Hyde Park neighborhood near the University of Chicago, the Seminary Co-op has grown from 17 members at its founding to over 53,000 today. Renowned as an exemplary academic bookstore, it attracts customers nationally and internationally. I Play Games

I Play Games! was founded in 2009 by experienced video game promoter, and tournament organizer Kevin Fair. Playing video games at home with friends and family was a favorite hobby for Kevin, and so bringing the joy of video game entertainment to greater video game community was a natural fit. Since 2009 I Play Games! has branched out into to several different areas growing their brand and presence in the video gaming community, with charitable events, group trips across the country, and suporting media blogs and gaming discussion shows.

Doc Films

Doc Films is a UChicago student organisation that provides movie screenings to the local community. They provide weekly screenings of all kinds of films on all kinds of media. Check out their website for a full schedule!
