It all started when…

In 2004 when our Supreme Matriarch started the first UChi-Con. Back then it was only held in the Biological Sciences Learning Center and we only had screenings, panels and gaming tournaments. 2024 was our 20th year of hosting this event.

Who Are We?

We are UCJAS, the University of Chicago Japanese Animation Society. We were first founded in 1994 and ever since have been having weekly meetings and putting on screenings. Check us out at our website here.
